Fair and blind in my
Elder youth, I
Stared through
Gauzy looks
That plain foretold the strange
Impatience
I now feel.

Impermanence abounds;
Around and 'round
My head, the strings
Unwrap with
Guarded feelings.

Playing dutifully
Along, bright songs
Implode my
Soul and rhythm,
Sharding window glass,
Full stained.

I take that step,
Removed from
Sensing
Reality and
Seeing that
It's all become
Undone.
