Patience
Is a
Virtue?
That can’t
Be all
There
Is to
This
Concept
That to
Suffer,
Bear one’s
Trials, is
So
Moral.
In ages?
Yes, to
Suffer
Held the
Promise of
Salvation;
Now, the
Pain is
But a
Lane change,
Longer
Lines at the
Gas
Station.
Sons and
Daughters
Hear us
Say it; but
What can
It really
Mean,
When we
Simply
Stifle
Seconds
Until they
Get ice
Cream? The
Hope and
Prayer that
Virtue
Makes a
Comeback is a
Good one;
Just don’t
Expect it
Sometime soon…
Now,
That
Is a
Conundrum....
